Friday is the lovechild of a simple desire to have fun. Born from a love of the unconventional, we make pieces for girls who like to move, play, and not take it all too seriously.
What began as a search for the perfect pair of women’s boardshorts - ones that didn’t lean too far into floral and pastel or borrow from the boys - quickly grew into something bigger. Today, Friday blurs the line between feminine surfwear and the traditionally masculine surf industry.
Though our roots lie in boardies, we recognise the appeal of surf culture beyond the waves. For us, surfwear and streetwear live side by side. Our range is designed to move with you from the beach to the streets - the kind of Fridays we live for.
Friday was born in Indonesia, the motherland of our founders. Our roots lie in small-scale production and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship.
